Ramp To Balcony Window Entrance.

I live on a main floor condo unit that has a large step to get out on the balcony  Over a foot high. I like to go on the balcony but am unable to make the step up to get out. I had a beautiful ramp made that looks almost like a staircase. I spent $950 on it and it is attractive. However I have discovered my walking has deteriorated and I can't walk up the ramp.
