Seeking Supportive Roommate
Seeking a supportive roommate for a 29 year old, high functioning male with cerebral palsy. Client has a service dog and therefore applicants must be allergy free and comfortable around dogs. Duties include but are not limited to: light housework, laundry, minimal personal care, meal preparation, transportation to appointments and work (client works ~ 15hrs per week). The applicant must provide a clear criminal record check, valid driver’s license and a list of several references. The client will provide a fully furnished room in a house in a family friendly community in SW Calgary. Hours will be flexible but based upon the client’s schedule. Ramp To Balcony Window Entrance.
I live on a main floor condo unit that has a large step to get out on the balcony Over a foot high. I like to go on the balcony but am unable to make the step up to get out. I had a beautiful ramp made that looks almost like a staircase. I spent $950 on it and it is attractive. However I have discovered my walking has deteriorated and I can't walk up the ramp. Mountain Trike (almost new)
New this unit is $9,000.00. Standard 16" wide x 17" deep seat. Just had it in to United Cycle to get the trike brought up to snuff and had the brakes calibrated, bled and new brake fluid. Has the single lever sport brake which engages both discs at the same time. Much safer with no side pull upon braking. Added on a new set of Schwalbe tires. It didn't need them but they are more suited to the street & drier trails for easier propulsion. The first pair are basically brand new and will come with the trike.
